Are you interested in getting involved with Bigger Than The Trail? Want to be part of a community that is helping those in need? Well the Bigger Than The Trail Ambassador Team is the place to do just that. Our 2024 applications are open and we would love for you to join us as we make an impact in the lives of those around us.
Bigger Than The Trail is on a mission to enrich the lives of those struggling with mental illness, and we need your help to accomplish this mission. If you are passionate about mental health and running, please fill out this application to be considered for our 2024 ambassador team.
Expectations for our ambassadors:
Social media - Share key posts, events, essential information from BTTT’s social platforms. We are not asking you to tag us in every post or requiring a specific number of posts, but sharing key posts helps us reach new communities and spread our message.
Outreach/Group run - Participate in 2 events throughout the year promoting/sharing BTTT’s mission. These can be races, group runs, virtual races. Social media is great but getting our feet on the ground and into your communities makes a huge difference.
Fundraise - One race/event per year should be used as a fundraising opportunity. We will be sharing different milestone incentives to reward you for the funds you raise.
Share story or message - We want to highlight all of you and ask you to create content for our social media platforms. This could be done by a blog post about your story, a post about “Why mental health matters to you,” or a simple motivational message or quote you want to share.
Advocate - Simply put, this is the core of being an ambassador, of sharing BTTTs mission/services directly with others. We will be providing five cards to hand out and encourage you to pass those out to individuals in your life.
We feel that building community is one of the biggest benefits of our ambassador team but,
we are also excited to highlight a few other perks that come along with the teeam.
